New Corona policies in Austria

Current entry restrictions and mask requirement

170 persons in Austria get infected with the Coronavirus during the last 24 hours. Therefore the government set new Corona policies.

A general nationwide mask requirement has been reintroduced for

• supermarkets
• post offices
• banks
• hospitals
• rest home

Current travel policies for the entry to Austria:

• a medical certificate proving a negative COVID-19 test + 14- days quarantine

• Austrian citizens have the opportunity to make the test 48 hours after their entry to Austria
