CORONA- Return of sports

Many areas have already made a comeback, some are well on their way to doing so. Under certain measures and behavioral guidelines, sports returns to our everyday life.

Team athletes meet on sports fields or meadows and are allowed to complete a joint training session again. For many, it’s usually a fixed part of the week, to meet with teammates, train together and of course to chat. It is important for team spirit and personal fitness.

There is a lot of activity in fitness studios again. The areas with the fitness equipment can be used almost as usual, with a minimum distance of 1-2 meters. However, the requirement for group lessons is still very strict. Due to the distance to be maintained, almost only a third of the normal number of participants is allowed. But spa areas are partly open again.

For hobby athletes, it is a pleasure to be able to train as usual on public sports grounds, in skate parks or in sport-centers. I am pleased that I have been able to play football with my teammates again for some time. Even if it is not yet allowed to play with physical contact, it is still nice to do sports together. According to a statement by Werner Kogler, normal operation in sports clubs should be possible again from autumn. I think that a lot of people are looking forward to being able to do sports as usual after the summer break.
