On the 5th of October museums all across Austria open their doors once again at night. Between 6pm and 1am one can visit with only one ticket as many or as little museums as one wishes. Some Museums create in light of this event children-friendly workshops.
The tickets costs per adult 15 euros, 12 euros for Ö1 club members, pupils, students, senior citizens, people with disabilities, males in their obligatory term of service. Children up to their 12 birthday are granted free entrance. With the ticket you are permitted to visit all of the cooperating museums and to use the viennese public transportation system. Tickets are purchasable in advance at the cooperating museums and at the day of the event additionally at the ‚Museum Information Point‘.
